What’s included

Your day covers private transport between all sites, entry to viewpoints and waterfall, plus a hearty fiambre lunch—just bring comfy shoes and curiosity!

Clouds hung low as we rolled into Villa de Guaduas—there’s this earthy smell in the air, kind of sweet after last night’s rain. Our guide, Andrés, met us by the plaza and right away pointed out the old cobblestones underfoot. First stop: Piedra Capira viewpoint. The climb’s not tough, but you’ll want to pause halfway just to catch your breath and look around—on clear days you can spot the Magdalena River winding far below. There was a local selling fresh guanábana juice at the top; honestly, it hit the spot after that walk.

The sound of water grew louder as we headed towards the 36-meter waterfall. It’s tucked behind some thick greenery—you’ll probably hear it before you see it. Mist on your face, cool shade all around. We lingered there for a bit; someone from our group even dipped their toes in (it’s chilly!). Afterward, we followed part of the old Spanish royal road—stones worn smooth by centuries of feet—and ended up at another viewpoint where paragliders sometimes launch. The view over Guaduas is wide open here; you get why folks say this place is full of stories.
